    What is a Flag bet?

A Flag is 23 bets across 4 selections: a full Yankee (6 doubles, 4 trebles, 1 four-fold) plus 6 single-stakes-about pairs (12 bets). The SSA pairs are conditional bets — if one selection wins, the profit is staked on the paired selection. A £1 Flag costs £23.

    Flag vs Yankee

A Yankee is 11 bets. A Flag adds 12 SSA bets on top, totalling 23. The Flag costs roughly double a Yankee but the SSA pairs provide additional coverage in scenarios where multiple selections win.

    What is single-stakes-about?

An SSA pair links two selections. If selection A wins, the profit is automatically staked on selection B, and vice versa. It's a conditional bet — the second leg only runs if the first leg wins. This creates a different risk profile from a standard double.

    How SSA pairs work

Each SSA pair covers two selections (e.g. A and B) with two conditional bets. Leg 1: stake on A — if A wins, the profit becomes the stake on B. Leg 2: the reverse. If both win, both legs pay. If only one wins, that leg's profit was staked on the loser, so the pair returns nothing. Both must win for any return from the pair.

    Flag returns by winner count

With 2 winners: 1 winning double from the Yankee portion, plus any SSA pairs involving both winners pay out. With 3 winners: 3 doubles + 1 treble from the Yankee, plus 3 SSA pairs pay (both legs each). With all 4: every bet wins — 6 doubles, 4 trebles, 1 four-fold, and all 12 SSA legs pay.
