What is a treble?
A treble combines 3 selections into 1 bet. All 3 must win. The odds multiply together — a treble at 2/1, 3/1, and 4/1 gives combined odds of 59/1. One loser and the whole bet loses.
Treble vs Trixie
A treble is 1 bet — all or nothing. A Trixie is 4 bets on the same 3 selections (3 doubles + 1 treble), so 2 winners still gives a return. The Trixie costs 4× more but provides coverage.
How the treble calculator works
How returns are calculated
A treble multiplies the decimal odds of all three selections together. At 2/1 (3.00), 3/1 (4.00), and 4/1 (5.00), the combined decimal odds are 3.00 × 4.00 × 5.00 = 60.00. A £1 stake returns £60.00 with a profit of £59.00.
Understanding implied probability
The implied probability of a treble is the product of each selection's individual probability. Three selections at 33%, 25%, and 20% give a combined probability of roughly 1.7%. The lower the combined probability, the harder it is to win — but the higher the payout.
When a selection is void
If one selection in your treble is void (non-runner, postponed match), the bet reduces to a double on the remaining two selections. If two are void, it becomes a single. Your stake stays the same throughout.
